We learned about the history and cultural significance of Ebru art, as well as the materials and techniques needed to create colorful patterns on a pan of oily water, which we then transferred to a particular paper.

Mr. Fikret was patient and thorough in his explanations, and he made sure that everyone in the class got an opportunity to try the techniques and ask questions. We were able to try out different colors and patterns, and it was fascinating to see how each design ended out differently.

This Ebru art workshop is highly recommended, as it will most likely be an entertaining and informative experience for everyone interested in learning this wonderful art form.
