A Wonderful Evening in Istanbul – S.Worke

So the special part of the evening. Signed up to do a Turkish Isparta Rose Oil Experience in Istanbul with @lesartsturcsofficial and @istanbulperfumeworkshops. On the way home had the opportunity to catch the calls to prayers coming from both the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. www.lesartsturcs.com

Fikretguney1962 and @lesartsturcsofficial founder @nurdogansengule talked about how perfume is constructed, the amazing Isparta turkish roses which form the basis of the oil, and generally about promoting the culture of Turkey. Through a series of sniff tests, they help me craft my own perfume. www.istanbulperfumeworkshops.com

Not just the culture, but the cats!
Here is Nurdogan with Charlie, one of many of the “feral” cats who climbed three floors in order to be adopted.

Fikret not only loves Charlie but also has numerous cats and dogs of his own. All in all an amazing evening and I highly recommend visiting @lesartsturcscofficial to either do a perfume workshop, or learn about marbling paper, making baklava, or creating Mosaic lamps
