    Sergei

Sergei was born in Ivanova, Russia (400 km. from Moscow). He loves to travel, and fell in love with Istanbul during his first visit in 1997.

We found him painting in the park in from of our gallery and we took him in. He stayed and has worked with us ever since. He enjoys painting

images of old Istanbul - faces, merchants, bazzares, mosques, churches. Ingenous creator - inspiration is his second nature. Although a

shy person, the women never seem to leave him alone. A master of cooking potatoes - his family are farmers, and learned to cook at home,

where the winters are very cold. His artist name, given by us, is Seyfi - the name you will see on his art.
